Refund Policy –

1. General Policy

At Siddhartha School, we strive to maintain transparency and fairness in all fee-related matters. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be considered for payments made toward admissions, tuition fees, and other charges.

2. Admission Fee

• The admission fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, once the admission has been confirmed and the seat is allocated.

• If a parent withdraws the admission before seat confirmation, a partial refund may be considered after deduction of administrative charges.

3. Tuition Fees

• Full Term Fees Paid:
  If a student withdraws within 15 calendar days from the start of the academic term, 50% of the tuition fees may be refunded.
  No refund will be issued after 15 days of the term's start.

• Monthly/Quarterly Payments:
  Fees already paid for a current month or quarter will not be refunded, regardless of the date of withdrawal.

4. Transport and Other Optional Fees

• Fees for services such as transportation, extracurricular activities, or special programs are non-refundable once availed or once the term starts.

• If such services have not begun, a partial refund may be considered on a pro-rata basis, upon written request.

5. Caution Deposit 

• Any refundable security deposit or caution money will be returned only upon:

  • Submission of a written application for withdrawal

  • Clearance of all dues and return of library books, ID cards, etc.

  • Submission of original receipt of deposit

6. Mode of Refund

• Approved refunds will be processed via bank transfer or cheque within 30 working days of approval.

• The parent/guardian must provide valid bank details and identification for processing.

7. Exceptional Cases

Refunds may be considered under special circumstances such as:

• Sudden transfer of parents to another city/state (with proof)

• Medical emergencies preventing the student from continuing

All such cases will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the school management.

8. Policy Changes

Siddhartha School reserves the right to revise this refund policy at any time. Updated policies will be shared through official communication channels and will apply prospectively.
